otake 007 is the debut from the born new polish project id ensemble. the release is called hollow ep and is authored by filip kaczmarek, self taught musician with technological attention to detail. it is one of few projects which filip runs in parallel although this one is heavily influenced by berlin sound exports. it was created as an expression of the need to break from the pattern, escape from the trademark. there are four tracks on the ep which are inspired by some detroit and berlin sounds, thus still having some special polish touch.

paint en pointe is a compilation of selected compositions by eugene ward, otherwise known to most as dro carey / tuff sherm. the tracks have been taken from a series of performance collaborations with choreographer patric kuo over a 5 month period. the performances, which occurred monthly in the latter half of 2014, took place in spot81 gallery in chippendale, sydney. kuo and ward, along with a roster of dancers, were invited to create new dance works that responded to the exhibition occurring during the given month. throughout the series many ensemble types were explored, ranging from solos up to large groups of as many as 16 dancers. patric kuo is a sydney based dancer/choreographer originally trained in all styles, but presently heavily draws his influence from hip hop and contemporary dance. coming from a performing arts and commercial dance background, kuo has expanded his ideas about communicating to an audience, moving away from the traditional entertainment relationship towards an approach that includes engagement more informed by performance art

the seventh modal analysis release comes from athenian producer and dj, anfs. following his remix for kondaktors signal 1, anfs returns to the label with his debut release, ground, a four track ep which consists of original material. borrowing sounds from early twentieth century folk greek culture, the ep is dominated by a rhythmic canibalistic spirit and a noisy distorted cue. ground 1 functions as an introduction, or rather ones initiation to the mystic rituals that prevail. the artist uses drones and distorted textures which increase in ground 2 and are backed up by drums that beat in a hard-and-slow ethnic tonality. ground 3 reveals a paroxysm of emotions which comes as a result from the combination of basslines and vocals that create a complex and twisted vortex. the trip ends with ground 4, a more stripped down monotonic ensemble that serves as an epilogue and a catharsis.

with focus battling between murderous bass and bewildering soundscapes throughout the ep, the choice of three energies and tones makes kalawila s debut a surely applicable dance floor tool for techno and house devotees alike. stockholm/berlin-based kalawila debuts on his own imprint, mountain explosion device, with an ep made for warehouses. slagsmal utbröt pa mount everest ep� is an ensemble of three dark house tracks on the verge of techno, each sonically similar and yet delicately versatile in function. slagsmål utbröt på mount everest is a forward-leaning and fast paced roller with long build-up. meanwhile khajuraho is steadily reclined on cooler percussion and kindred warehouse bass-sounds. pluto far sparken then shifts focus slightly to the peripheries in a deeper passage of harmonics and reverberations.
